An exploration in COLOUR & texture.
Welcome to Silver Wattle Designs, where every piece is handmade in small batches on Darumbal Country.
We believe in slow, mindful making — creating jewellery that’s lightweight, unique, and designed to be loved for years to come.
Each pair of earrings is shaped and finished by hand, so no two pieces are ever quite the same. Our collections are inspired by nature, colour, and the joy of expressing yourself through beautiful, wearable art.
About Me
Hello, I’m Kelly, the hands and heart behind Silver Wattle Designs.
From a small studio on Darumbal Country, I create handmade, small-batch polymer clay jewellery designed to be cherished for years to come.
What began as a creative escape — shaping little pieces of clay at my kitchen table — has grown into a slow, thoughtful practice that connects me to my craft, my customers, and the land I work on.
My Making Process
Each piece starts as a simple slab of polymer clay.
I blend my own colours, hand-roll, cut, and shape every component, giving attention to even the tiniest details.
Once baked, each piece is gently sanded, buffed, and polished by hand until it’s smooth and silky to the touch.
Finally, I assemble them using high-quality, nickel-free findings so they are lightweight, durable, and comfortable to wear.
No two pieces are ever exactly the same — each carries its own subtle character, a small reminder that handmade work is beautifully imperfect.
My Inspiration
I draw inspiration from the quiet beauty of nature — soft earthy tones, coastal hues, and organic forms found in flowers, shells, and stones.
I love how a simple shape or a shift in colour can bring a sense of calm, joy, or connection.
A Personal Promise
For me, jewellery is more than an accessory — it’s a way to express individuality and celebrate life’s small, beautiful moments.
Creating in small batches allows me to work slowly, reduce waste, and give every piece the time and care it deserves.
I’m deeply grateful to create on Darumbal Country, and I honour the Darumbal People’s enduring connection to this land.
Every piece I make carries that spirit of respect, care, and connection.
Thank you for supporting a small Australian maker.
I hope you find something here that feels special to you.
